Well, opening night was last night and it was a lot of fun.
I played Emily, the Kitchen Wench. She gets chased by the king and at first likes it, but eventually hates it, so she tries to avoid him by running and hiding from him. When she likes it, she's giggling, but when she starts to hate it, she screams when she's found by him or is close to being caught by him or is found by the Jester.
And last night and the night before, I did it all without a microphone. And I will continue to do it without a microphone for our 3 weekend run.
Lots of fun last night. I'll edit and add more later. Two shows today.
EDIT: We went to a Mexican returant in between shows. That was lots of fun. Roughly 15 people went so we had about three or four tables and a booth. Shows went well both weekends. Actually all the weekends went well.
But now it tis over. :( Strike was last night. I'll have to post some pictures. Maybe. If I get my camera unloaded. It was so much fun!! I really enjoyed it. The people were all nice and fun to work with. Needless to say, I will be back to audition for another play or musical.
In other news, I have decided to not do band next year. I'm debating between drawing, photography, and German IV....

Wow! Finally getting back to being able to sit down at the computer to update this thing. Well, for tonight anyway.
First things first. The marching band that I'm in went to BOA. We didn't make it to semi finals, but everybody thought it was a good show. We had performed really early in the morning (second to perform for the day) and we walked to the Dome from where we were staying.
Now, before this, the local Civic Theatre was having auditions for a production of the musical Once Upon a Mattress. I didn't think my singing part went that great, but the dance part I felt went well. I did get a call back, which must have gone well because on the night the band was heading for Indy, I got a phone call saying that I got a part!!! I'm the Kitchen Wench and I'm in the chorus. There have been 3 rehearsals so far and I'm having a lot of fun. The practices are in the evening, but I'm enjoying it.
So I now tend to drink more water than usual to make sure I can keep my voice for choir first thing in the morning and rehearsal in the evening.
So I might not have a whole lot of time for stuff on here for a while between school and Civic, but I'll be on when I can. Please take no offense if you leave a comment and I don't get back to it until weeks upon weeks later; chances are I'm running around somewhere trying to get something done.

Hello!!

Ich bin nicht tot aber ich bin sehr fleißg mit die Marching band!

Okay, for those of you who don't speak German:

I am not dead, but I have been very hardworking with the marching band!
I do play the flute and our band is about to wrap up our season.
Our first competition was an indoor one. There was no visual score because it was performed inside and music was the only score counted and we got first and the caption for general effect. (We beat the state champion) Our second competition weekend we had two competitions in one day. At the first one we got Best DM, best Percussion, Best Pit Crew and second place. At the second competition we got 3rd place and no captions. The third weekend we got another 1st, best music and BEST OVERALL SCORE OF THE EVENING. Our band is smaller than some of the other classes and we beat the bigger bands in other classes. Then there was districts, which we got a gold at and went on the Regionals, we made it to the top five sooo....... WE'RE GOING TO STATE!!!!! It is this weekend. We are also doing BOA, so I might be busy for awhile.

I will also be going to audition for a Civic theatre Musical. The place I was volunteering at was closed down due to lack of funding. I'm in the Glee Club at school.... I think that's the most pressing news right now. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

(What is it with me updating while listening to Aida?)

EDIT: State was last night. We placed 8th in our class. This was out of the ten bands that went to State; there are a lot more than ten across the state.

All right, I'm finally getting around to updating this.

Recently I have gone on a bit of a musicals kick, Aida being tops. It rocked, I was able to see a performance of it last month that some of my friends were in. It was so good that it has topped my favorite musicals list. The list now goes as follows:

1) Aida
2) Phantom of the Opera
3) Beauty and the Beast
4) Into the Woods

So I've been playing songs from Aida on my keyboard along with Andrew Lloyd Webber stuff, but Fortune Favors the Brave has been coming along nicely and Every Story is a Love Story is pretty easy. Some of them I haven't been playing as much of, but love all the same.
I've also been writing a romance story about two actors. I had an idea running around my head for later in the story, but it refused to go away until I at least wrote some of it down. Names have been a bit of a problem because I want at least part of them to give insight into the character.
I am working on updating my gallery and the 100 challenge. I've been working on some of them and my contest entry just needs a picture taken of it (I'm working on it Nebulan!! I swear!)
There's been a severly minor Muppets kick, SG1 ended its 10 season run last month (:( ), Doctor Who has started its 3rd season run on SciFi (:boogie:)On the Lot is a pretty good show, Eureka starts soon. My birthday is coming up. I have another parade on Saturday, and Harry Potter comes out soon.
It's all good (:) )

PS. Just so y'all know, The last song on listening to is Elaborate Lives. The fr. stands for from
